New Year lunch

Ozouni

Nikuman, steamed bread stuffed with meat.
Another traditional New Year dish is "ozouni", soup with mochi (sticky rice cakes). We had ozouni for lunch. There were also some nikuman (steamed buns) since how else could you get enough Calories to watch TV the whole day? I had also brought a LeTao cheese cake from Hokkaido which had to be eaten during the days too.
