Born in Stockholm (Sweden), now live in Sapporo (Japan). Hold a Ph.D. in computer science and work with computers during the days, perform magic in a bar during the nights (and weekends, for kids). Also used to teach historical fencing back in Sweden.
I got a whole room to myself to sleep in, which was nice. I got a futon on the tatami floor, which is a common sleeping arrangement in Japan. In the south, since the rooms are so freakishly cold, the futon is very thick and heavy. It keeps you very warm, but anything that sticks out, like your nose or ears, get quite cold.
