Too tiny sandals

A few years ago, I was wearing pretty nice sandals in the middle of the summer, but one of them broke one day. I was far away from home, but luckily there are 100 yen shops near most of the interesting places in Sapporo. I was only a short walk in broken shoes away from a place that sells beach sandals (and lots of other things) for 100 yen (1 dollar). I bought a pair of sandals and walked home in those.

Those sandals turned out to be great. I wore them the rest of the summer, and most of the next summer. Then they were kind of worn out, so I bought a new pair of sandals in a different 100 yen shop. These were also great, but today they started to feel a bit worn out (after about one year of intensive use).

I went to yet another 100 yen shop, and found some sandals with playing card designs! Sadly, they were about half the size that I wear... I bought a pair of purple sandals instead, and they seem nice too. My friends tell me no normal person would ever buy clothes or shoes in a 100 yen store, though.

  1. Då är inte jag heller normal (som om jag NÅNSIN trott det!!) för jag köpte mig ett par svarta/röda sandaler i en 100 yen-butik i somras!! Dom är supersköna och väger absolut ingenting!! :-) Vem vill vara normal?
