Poznan: Sightseeing

We went sightseeing in the city center. Here are some of the things we saw.

A somewhat worse for wear musical instrument.

A fountain.

An old castle/defense work, and some strange sculptures.

The market square of the Old Town.

The old city hall.
The Old Town is so old that there are still carts drawn by horses there!

Some girl was making huge soap bubbles.

A bar with "viking" in the name.

They are building a new "medieval" castle on a hill. Supposedly it will look like the original.

An old church.

Outside it was around 20℃ but inside the church it was really cold. Around 0℃.

There were a lot of sushi places. None of them seemed to sell anything that Japanese people would consider sushi, though.

A crucifix in the middle of the street.

Some guy was practicing juggling bottles on the riverbank.

The cathedral.

The previous pope was Polish. Here is a statue of him, with lots of religious offerings.

The cathedral again.

Creative graffiti.
