Las Vegas tattoos
In Japan, tattoos are not common. Many hotels and hot springs only allow people without tattoos, so if you have tattoos you are quite limited in where you can go. This is mainly because traditionally only criminals had tattoos (and to a large extent this still seems to be true). When I go abroad I am often surprised by there being so many "normal" people walking around with tattoos.
This girl was not Japanese, but her tattoo is proper Japanese.
