Soba noodles and smoked-salmon-like salmon

I was invited to a party in a soba place. The soba noodles were very good. The other guests were also very nice people. I did a magic trick were a piece of salmon sushi appears out of the picture of a salmon eating salmon sushi on my t-shirt, so everyone became excited when the waitress brought salmon.

Smoked-salmon-like salmon

I though the best part was her explanation of what the food was. She said it was "smoked-salmon-like salmon" (スモークサーモン風なサーモン). How exactly this would be different from smoked salmon was unclear, but it was clearly not smoked salmon. It was salmon, though.
