Var finns det många restaurang?
Today I saw a girl with a bag that said: "Var finns det många restaurang?" This is Swedish. It is grammatically incorrect, though. It should say: "Var finns det många restauranger?" (the noun should be in plural form).
The Swedish means: "Where are there many restaurants?" You could say that, but it is a little bit odd to use this expression to ask for a place with many restaurants.
I have seen this printed on a bag before (maybe it was the same girl?), but I did not manage to get a photo of it then. I have seen similar bags too, with strange expressions in Swedish. Apparently, other people have noticed them too, haha.
My favorite so far is "Dagens läxor är du ensam?", which is very strange but would mean something like "Today's homework are you alone?".
