The kuchisake onna that I wanted to dress up as has a pair of scissors that she kills or mutilates people with. I figured that since I get stopped by the police quite a lot even when dressed normally, it would be prudent to not use actually dangerous scissors. So I bought some silver colored origami paper and made a pair of harmless fake scissors.
