My life in Sapporo, Japan. Eating weird food, seeing weird clothes, meeting weird people, doing weird things.

Swedish pizza
In Japan, pizza is considered Italian food, and since Italian food is considered fancy luxury food, pizza is also considered fancy and expensive food. So pizzas are small, come in refined taste, and cost a fortune. In Sweden, pizza is one of the few types of food that is cheap. They are big, unhealthy, and delicious. I try to eat pizza at least once every time I go to Sweden.

Best hamburgers in Stockholm
I have a friend in Sweden who I first met when I was too young to remember (maybe 3 years old or so?) and we still keep in touch. We like the same types of movies, the same types of music, the same types of food, etc. He told me he had found the best hamburger place in Stockholm, so we went there for lunch. They indeed had great hamburgers.
They also served ice cream. And the servings were pretty large...

Food poisoning?
I spent one evening mainly puking in my hotel room in Las Vegas. The next day I was feeling pretty good, and the day after that I was feeling very good. I guess I could have caught some bug during the trip to Vegas, but since I got better so fast I think it was something I ate. What I ate that day was pretty much only this, some Mexican food. The food was pretty tasty, though. And the super spicy sauce was indeed quite spicy.

Junk Food
| Kebab! |
| Spicy sauces |
We decided to have something to eat before passing out from lack of sleep and went out to have kebab. There are places selling kebab in Japan too, but it is not really the same as the European junk food. We ended up in a very nice kebab place with both friendly staff, low prices, and good food.
