Reindeer stew
I Sweden we have a lot of reindeer. This means that pretty much any super market will sell reindeer meat every day of the week. My mom made reindeer stew with mashed potatoes, which is very nice. We also have a lot of blueberries (do not go well with meat) and lingonberries in Sweden. Lingonberries are sort of tart (not sweet), so they are often used together with meat.
