In what my friend describes as "the first time in 8 years since coming to Sapporo that we managed to try the soup curry of our university", we had lunch slightly earlier than normal and managed to order the soup curry in our student cafeteria before it sold out. It has been sold out every day we have tried to order it, though we have not tried for eight years yet. In fact, eight years ago, they probably did not have it on the menu.
