Mochi

I went out to Sweden Hills to do a magic show for kids at an event a friend of mine was organizing. At the same event, everyone got to learn how to make "go hei mochi". Mochi are rice cakes, or basically anything made from sticky rice. Go hei mochi is a kind of mochi from somewhere in the south of Japan.

Make mochi rice into a paste

Put sticky rice paste on sticks, and grill them until crunchy.

Smear miso paste (or soy sauce) on your mochi and grill some more.

When it is crunchy enough, eat.
