Autumn in Sapporo

Now the autumn has come to Sapporo, and with it thousands of tourists who stroll around inside our university grounds to look at the leaves changing color. This is not very exotic to me as a Swede, but apparently it is exotic to people from farther south. This means it is difficult to get to work by bicycle, since the roads are blocked by tourists milling about.

The university does however look quite nice this time of the year.

This entrance to the university is very popular with the tourists

Outside my building's door, we have nice trees and less nice "Very radioactive, stay away"-signs

Another radioactivity warning sign from outside our lab
