Susukino, which is more or less where I live, is the night life or red light district of Sapporo. When walking home, the street next to the one I live on was very red with lights. Lots of police and fire trucks, but nothing in the news. Perhaps it was a gas leak that turned out to be a false alarm, or something similar.
