People in Japan find it surprising and amazing that instead of rice people in Sweden eat potatoes (in Japan they believe it rice is replaces by bread in Europe). |
Every time I go back to Sweden people keep feeding me things saying: "I bet you have not had [some type of food exclusive to Sweden] in a long time, let's eat huge amounts of that!" and I end up gaining 3kg per week or so... But it is good food.

More potatoes |
Uncooked salmon is traditional in Sweden too (not only in Japan). The sausages contain moose. |
Swedish food |
Herring and mashed potatoes, very Swedish |
Sweden has few fruits (too cold) but lots of berries. |
"Wallenberger". With berries (the red stuff to the left). |
