When I visit Sweden I usually stay at my parents' place. It is slightly to the left of the left edge of the photo above, and there is a bus you can take to get to the train station where a commuter train will put you at Stockholm Central station in 19 minutes.
The surrounding are is very quiet and looks pretty. The dog likes the view from the second floor.
