My life in Sapporo, Japan. Eating weird food, seeing weird clothes, meeting weird people, doing weird things.

Ohkini
In Osaka they have a different dialect than in Sapporo where I live (and learned Japanese). One famous expression they have is "ohkini" (おおきに)which means "thank you". Even in the cheap udon lunch restaurant I had a quick lunch at during our short break in the work, they said ohkini when I left.
