Meatballs in prison

Meat balls with mashed potatoes, a special brown sauce, and a fairly Swedish jam (though not sweet) based on Swedish berries.

The view out from the very small cell we were in into the neighboring much larger hall.

There is a cannonball stuck in the wall of the house opposite our restaurant. Apparently stuck there since a war with the Danish long ago.
We had lunch in what used to be a prison 700 years ago. It is the basement of a building that is old but slightly newer than the basement. Nowadays it is a restaurant, but the cells etc. are very small and the doorways are so low that even I (who am very short) have to be careful not to hurt my head. The food is OK and the atmosphere is very nice. I forgot to take good pictures, though.
