Yesterday some of my friends wanted to go to the O-Bon dancing in the central park, so I joined them for awhile between my university job and my Friday night shift at the magic bar.
We saw On-chan, the character for the TV channel that is sponsoring the Bon-odori every year. He is big and tends to mess up the dance lines (I guess the person inside has a hard time seeing), especially since lots of people gather around to to take photos of themselves with On-chan while dancing.
We also saw Spiderman, though he did not seem to dance.
