Back in Sapporo, one day I decided to make a new attempt at making "drift ice curry". They sell something that is blue curry and something that is white curry in a set, and you can heat it and create "drift ice" at home. The northeast part of Hokkaido has lots of tourism where people come to see the drift ice in spring, and this is some sort of souvenir style food that you can buy here. Last time I tried, it did not end up looking very much like drift ice, or like the photo on the package. Since I learned from some mistakes from last time, this time it went much better.
