Niku-jaga (literally "meat and potatoes") |
One of the nurses I met by chance in Paris invited me to have home cooked dinner with her and one of her friends/coworkers. They asked me if there was something in particular I wanted to eat, so I said that anything that you would not expect to find in a restaurant, like very plain home cooked Japanese food, would be great (since I mostly eat at restaurants when I am not cooking myself). They cooked various things, and it was good.
