Pot with guts, and strange gyoza
The day after I had all the smoked food, I met another friend and we had Japanese hot pot with spicy soup and guts. This is pretty good. There were also gyoza (dumplings), served in an interesting looking way. I also ordered cheese filled and deep fried meat rolls, because that sounded so healthy. This friend is Japanese has lived in Canada, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, so we can relate to stories about things that happen to you when you live in "a weird country that you did not grow up in".
