Me and the Swedish girl also went to the Yosakoi festival. On Saturday, the teams have to dance on the biggest street in town, from one end of the Odori-park to the next. This is quite far, and I am told by friends who have participated in Yosakoi that it is very very tiring...

| All teams have a huge truck with enormous speakers to blast out their music. Most teams also have a singer singing the lyrics live. Some have people playing instruments too. |

| There is an "anyone can participate" part of the festival too, where famous teams take turns doing their dance and anyone can join in. This is the team from my university leading a lot of random people in their dance. |
