Since I bought a bicycle, I have been trying to get my colleagues to go to lunch outside the university, but they are lazy bums and usually give some excuse ("It is raining", "I will have a huge dinner, so I will not have lunch", etc.) and just go to the cafeteria nearby instead. Sometimes I manage to convince one of them to come with me though. Recently, the trick seems to be to suggest going for soup curry, a local Sapporo specialty.
