I have walked too much in my old geta (Japanese wooden clogs) so I needed new ones. I bought my geta from a very nice family in Sapporo two years ago, and I went back to the same place again. They still remembered me and that I was a magician. They even remembered what I had bought, what I had told them of the colors of my yukata etc... So I got some new nice geta, and at half the price printed on the price tags too! They also build the geta while you wait, adjusting everything to your feet. This makes the geta hurt less when you walk in them... which is good because it can hurt a lot otherwise.
