Both McDonald's and Burger King had Halloween burgers that were black. I never found a Burger King to try, which was sad because their black hamburger was much blacker than the McDonald's one. Even the cheese was black.
I did find a McDonald's, though. So I bought one black hamburger to go, and ate it. It was not bad, but it was not very good either. The sauce was squid ink (which is common in Japanese cooking) based to make it black. The bread was more grey than black.
