When I wrote that I was going to go to Sweden on vacation, my Swedish colleagues mother wrote a comment that we could meet for tea and talk in real life. We communicate a bit over the Internet, and we have met once in Sapporo (when we just said hello, basically) when she was here visiting her relatives.
When I was in Stockholm we met up and had tea and talked for four hours in a cafe, and walked around in Stockholm for a bit. It was a lot of fun.
