My life in Sapporo, Japan. Eating weird food, seeing weird clothes, meeting weird people, doing weird things.

Fish and dill
I like fish. In Japan people eat a lot of fish, but it is prepared differently than in Sweden. Either you eat it raw with soy sauce, or you pour soy sauce on it and grill it, basically. This is good, but sometimes I feel like having the Swedish style fish too.
During my visit to Sweden, I did have a chance to eat fish, of course. It was prepared simply, by frying it in the frying pan, seasoned with salt and pepper. There was a very Swedish sauce available too, with dill. Dill is extremely common in Swedish cooking, and sometimes found in food in Japan.
