I passed the Museum of Spirits, and they had a big sign that said: "Swedish Sin". Swedish sin is famous abroad, and in Japan they have some similar notion of Sweden too. If I meet people in Japan that are older than 35 they often exclaim: "Sweden! The land of free sex!" This was apparently written in a school book for elementary schools when they were young. Younger people never say that, and they do not seem to understand it when older people start talking about that either, so I guess they have changed the books lately.
My life in Sapporo, Japan. Eating weird food, seeing weird clothes, meeting weird people, doing weird things.
